Scooby Doo to Appear at Charge Game

VILLANOVA, PA (July, 9 2002) - Mystery-solving K-9 Scooby Doo will be at Villanova Stadium on Wednesday, July 24 when the Philadelphia Charge host Tiffeny Milbrett and the New York Power starting at 7:00 p.m.
A special group offer will allow fans access to an exclusive Meet & Greet with Scooby Doo prior to the game, while the pup will also be making his rounds during the contest. The Meet & Greet is a limited-time offer so call the Charge ticket office at (215) 467-GOAL for more information.
The Charge are 9-1-3 this season and sit tied atop the WUSA standings with the Carolina Courage. Philly is 5-0-3 in its last eight contests and is 7-0-3 in its last 10 games at Villanova Stadium dating back to last year. Marinette Pichon leads the Charge attack with a league-leading 12 goals and 25 points. The Frenchwoman is also the reigning Player of the Month and Player of the Week and is a leading candidate for the league MVP.
