Schweitzer Named SL's Top Clubhouse Man

MOBILE, Ala. - The Mobile BayBears are proud to announce that clubhouse manager Rick Schweitzer has been named the Southern League's Best Visiting Clubhouse Attendant, as chosen by the league's field managers and umpires.
Schweitzer returned to the BayBears last season after spending his first two years with the BayBears during their first two years of existence. In between stints in Mobile, Schweitzer served as clubhouse manager for the Las Vegas 51s of the Pacific Coast League.
A man who typically spends long hours at Hank Aaron Stadium, detailing and washing player uniforms, cooking and keeping track of equipment, Schweitzer recently celebrated his 1,500th game as a "clubby."
