(North Little Rock, AR) - (North Little Rock, AR) - Arkansas Twisters receiver Jon Schoonover is the Arkansas Federal Credit Union Twisters Player of the Week after leading the Twisters to a comeback victory over Corpus Christi.
Schoonover caught 11 passes for 122 yards and three touchdowns to help the Twisters overcome a 20-0 halftime deficit. He also recovered an on-side kick for Arkansas and caught a critical ball that bounced off the lower net irons on a kickoff to keep the Sharks from getting a net recovery.
The Twisters came back by outscoring Corpus Christi 39-7 in the second half, fueled by Schoonover's three touchdown catches.
