(North Little Rock, AR) - Arkansas Twisters receiver Jon Schoonover is the Arkansas Federal Credit Union Twisters Player of the Week after setting a playoff career high with 142 receiving yards against Bossier-Shreveport in the first round of the af2 Playoffs.
Schoonover caught eight passes for 142 yards and two scores. The second touchdown was a 48 yard strike from Brian Villanueva that tied for the longest pass of the season. Schoonover also caught a two-point conversion to finish with 14 points for the night.
The Twisters finished the season with a 12-4 record. The 12 wins is a team record for the regular season. Arkansas lost in the first round of the playoff, 62-40 to Bossier-Shreveport.
