Saugerties Stallions News Release
Saugerties, N.Y.- The Saugerties Stallions (10-15) and the Glens Falls Dragons (14-13) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Saugerties Stallions that eventually took advantage of them in a 2-0 win at Cantine Memorial Veterans Field.
The fact that the Saugerties Stallions grouped all of their runs into the first inning helped them take advantage of their hits.
Anthony Rocco pitched lights out for the Saugerties Stallions. Rocco gave up just four hits, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out one during his five innings of work.
Tyler Ehlers was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed two runs.
