March 2, 2012 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Washington Stealth News Release
Everett, Wash. - Washington Stealth fans who aren't making the trip to Toronto for Saturday's game at the Air Canada Centre will have the opportunity to watch the game on local TV. Root Sports will be broadcasting a re-air of the game Saturday night at 9:30pm.
"Having a high definition broadcast on Root Sports is great for the exposure of the Stealth and our sport in the Pacific Northwest," said Stealth Director of Communications Michael Kennett. "Sports fans in the region are frequent viewers of Root Sports and the Stealth is pleased to have one of our games broadcast on this great network."
The game between the Washington Stealth and Toronto Rock is a rematch of the previous two National Lacrosse League Championship Games. The Stealth won the 2010 title in front of a sold out Comcast Arena crowd; the Rock won on their home turf last season.
