
Sand Gnats Streak Paused Due to Rain Saturday

Savannah, GA - The Sand Gnats game against the Kannapolis Intimidators on Saturday at Historic Grayson Stadium has been postponed due to rain. Savannah's 17-game winning streak has been put on pause until Sunday, with a doubleheader starting at 12:35pm. The Sand Gnats have won 23 of their last 24 games.
The Sand Gnats will look for their 18th and possibly 19th straight victories tomorrow at Historic Grayson Stadium with a doubleheader against the Kannapolis Intimidators. The Gnats will send RHP Josh Prevost (4-4, 3.61) to the hill in the first of two seven-inning games and RHP Martires Arias (6-5, 2.67) in the second. The Intimidators will start RHP Kelvis Valerio (1-1, 3.68) in game one and RHP Thad Lowry (11-7, 4.30) in game two. Sunday will feature Kids Run the Bases after the game presented by Papa Murphy's. All kids 12 years and under will receive a voucher for one free hot dog and small soda. Gates will open at 12pm.
