San Jose Earthquakes Individual Tickets Now On Sale

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that individual tickets for all 2009 Earthquakes home games are now on sale. Tickets for the much anticipated 2009 campaign are available online at sjearthquakes.com or by calling (800) 225-2277. Prices range from $20-$70 per ticket.

"Frank and John have done a tremendous job putting the team together for the 2009 season," stated David Alioto, Executive Vice President of the San Jose Earthquakes. "We think this is going to be a great year for the Quakes and we are looking forward to opening night at Buck Shaw Stadium."

The 2009 Earthquakes schedule is highlighted by three early season games against some of the top teams in the league. The Quakes will open their season against Taylor Twellman and the New England Revolution on Saturday, March 21 at Buck Shaw Stadium. The following weekend, on Saturday, March 28, the Houston Dynamo visit the Quakes for the latest edition of what has become one of the best rivalries in MLS. Mexican star Cuauhtémoc Blanco and the Chicago Fire come to the Bay Area on Saturday, April 11.

The Quakes once again play two games against their Southern California rivals, the Los Angeles Galaxy, at home this season. On Saturday, April 18, San Jose hosts the Galaxy at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum at 7:30 p.m. PT. The game will be followed by a fireworks show at the stadium. The Galaxy return to the Bay Area on Saturday, June 20 for a 1:00 p.m. PT match in Oakland. That game will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

Season tickets are on sale now for the 2009 Earthquakes season. The season-ticket package consists of 17 games, 15 regular season matches and two bonus matches. Prices begin at $306 and all packages offer significant savings off the regular price. Season ticket holders will also receive the following benefits: invitations to private Season Ticket Holder events, ability to purchase a season parking pass; Darren Huckerby Bobblehead and first priority for playoff tickets and all international games, along with a number of other benefits.
