
San Jose Can Clinch Playoff Spot This Week

NEW YORK - The San Jose SaberCats (6-5) can clinch the team's ninth consecutive playoff berth on Saturday while the Chicago Rush (8-2) can clinch its second consecutive Mitsubishi Motors Central Division title, along with a first-round bye this weekend.
San Jose can clinch with a win against the Utah Blaze (2-9) on Saturday, May 17 at 10:30 p.m. ET (SIRIUS Radio - Channel 130) coupled with losses by Arizona, Colorado and Kansas City.
Chicago can claim the Central Division title with a Colorado loss on Saturday and a win when the Rush host the Los Angeles Avengers (4-7) on Russell Athletic ESPN Arena Football Monday, May 19 at 8 p.m. ET (ESPN2 HD, ESPN360.com).
