San Antonio Stars Sign Avery Warley-Talbert to Seven-Day Contract

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Stars today announced the team has signed center Avery Warley-Talbert to a seven-day contract.

A four-year WNBA veteran, Warley-Talbert (Liberty, 6-3), appeared in one game with the Atlanta Dream this season. She was waived by Atlanta on June 19. Prior to the Dream, Warley-Talbert played for the New York Liberty (2013-16), Chicago Sky (2013) and Phoenix Mercury (2012). Throughout her career, she has averaged 3.9 rebounds and 2.7 points per game.

Warley-Talbert played four seasons at Liberty University (2008-12), where she averaged 11.0 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. She is the all-time leading rebounder in Liberty and Big South Conference history (1,282).
