San Antonio Stallions News Release
San Antonio, TX. Kevin Sanderson, CEO of the ABA San Antonio Stallions professional basketball team scheduled to begin play in 2005 today announced that the team has signed an agreement with Crawl 2 Bawl Records to record, produce and distribute a unique soundtrack that will include an original theme song for the team. According to Sanderson, "Pookie" (Bryan Jones) and Mr. Lucci (Jeron Gibson) are very talented. When they approached us with the idea, and when we heard their music, there was no way we couldn't move forward with this project. They've just released "My Life" which is available nationwide - and Mr. Lucci's "My Testimony" and "Golden Child" will be released later this summer. "Pookie" will be releasing his solo album, "Return of the Hoopla" early this fall."
Ricardo Richardson, ABA VP Special Projects, added, "The ABA is much more than basketball. It is show business, music, family entertainment. We're very proud that Kevin has taken this initiative. It fits beautifully with what we're trying to do and look forward to hearing the finished product."
