
San Antonio FC Loans Forward Alex Bruce to Lansing Ignite FC

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC loaned forward Alex Bruce to USL League One club Lansing Ignite FC for the 2019 season pending league and federation approval, the club announced today. Per club policy, terms of the loan were not disclosed.
"Alex has had a good preseason and worked hard with the group," said SAFC Head Coach Darren Powell. "He has an opportunity to go and get games with Lansing, and we are looking forward to watching him progress and see how he does."
Bruce appeared in 13 league matches in 2018 for SAFC, making eight starts and tallying 779 total minutes. The forward added three goals, 17 shots and a 72.7 percent passing accuracy in USL Championship matches. Bruce originally spent time training with San Antonio FC towards the end of the 2017 USL season prior to signing his first professional contract before the 2018 season.
Following the transaction, the San Antonio FC roster currently stands at 21.
