Salmon Kings sign Little D-Man

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that the organization has signed Defenseman Jordan Little.

Little has previous ECHL experience with the Bakersfield and Greenville, and played last season with the Central Hockey League's Rocky Mountain Rage. Primarily a defenseman the 26-year-old also has the ability to play forward.

"Jordan is a big strong d-man who will provide some additional toughness on the blue line", Dan Belisle Vice President of Hockey Operations and Head Coach said.

The 6-foot-4, 217-pound Little played 43 games with the Rage last season and collected 12 points (4g-8a) and accumulated 156 minutes in penalties. In his pro career he has played in 62 games over three seasons and has notched 15 points (6g-9a) and 186 minutes of penalty time.

The Winnipeg, MB native played three years of Canadian Interuniversity Sport hockey for the University of Manitoba. In 100 career games he scored 14 goals and collected 20 assists for 34 points, and accumulated 216 minutes in penalties.

The Salmon Kings will kick off their fourth season in the ECHL in Idaho on Oct 19, 2007, and will host the Las Vegas Wranglers for the Home Opener Series on Oct 26 and 27.
