
Salazar Called up by Belize National Team

OTTAWA - Fury FC forward Michael Salazar, in Ottawa on loan from Montreal Impact, has been selected by the Belize National Team to take part in a pair of International Friendlies against Grenada this week. These matches will serve as preparation for the squad that will be participating in the CONCACAF Nations League later this year.
Salazar has played 10 matches with his National Team so far in his career, the latest being during the 2017 Copa Centroamericana starting four of the squad five contests.
Salazar will be away with the National Team March 20 to 25, which coincides with Ottawa Fury FC's first bye-week of the 2018 USL season. Fury FC returns to action on Saturday, March 31 when it travels to BMO Field to face Toronto FC II.
