ST. PAUL, MN - The St. Paul Saints are returning to Fox Sports Net for a pair of games in 2006. The first of two telecasts will be this Thursday, July 20. St. Paul, which is off for the All-Star break until then, will be hosting St. Joseph at Midway Stadium. Game time is 7:05 p.m. The broadcast will start at 7:00 p.m.

The second telecast is scheduled for Monday, August 21. The Blacksnakes are also the foe for this 7:05 p.m. game at Midway.

"We're very happy to be working with Fox again," said Derek Sharrer, St. Paul Vice President/General Manager. "They have a far-reaching capability that is impossible to place a value upon."

"We are pleased to have the Saints return to FSN North as part of our ongoing commitment to provide the best in live, local sports programming," said FSN North Vice President and General Manager Mike Dimond.

Kris Atteberry, Bob Kurtz and Dana Kiecker will handle the call for the games, which were originally scheduled to be aired on Comcast.

St. Paul hit the All-Star break with a 6-6 record, a half-game out of first place in the second half race in the North Division of the American Association after a 7-1 win at Shreveport Sunday. The expansion Blacksnakes enter Thursday's game with a 6-7 record.

FSN North reaches more than 3 million homes throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and North and South Dakota and telecasts nearly 2,600 hours of locally produced programming per year. The Emmy Award-winning regional sports network provides comprehensive coverage of the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks, MLB's Minnesota Twins and Milwaukee Brewers, the NHL's Minnesota Wild and the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx as well as the University of Minnesota and University of Wisconsin athletic events.
