Buffalo Silverbacks News Release

Buffalo, NY - The Buffalo Silverbacks recently received a letter from "The Family" organization for a recent Sahlen "Do Your Best, Never Quit" seminar. Amorita McClam, Program Director of the family wrote:

"On behalf of the entire staff and volunteers of THE FAMILY, we would like to extend a letter of thanks to The Buffalo Silverbacks and Sahlen Packing Company. These players have returned for a second year and shown such an interest in helping our children of the future. The Silverbacks were a great help to our 3rd annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Free Preventitive Teamwork Challenge. As professional players they demonstrated many different drills and help the children perform the drills themselves. The Silverbacks helped over 300 children enjoy this special event. During this event The Silverbacks help promote their "Do Your Best, Never Quit" message. We are very appreciative of their time and effort and hope that you will return next year."

The Sahlen "Do Your Best, Never Quit" community outreach initiative teaches children to focus on the effort they apply to a situation rather than the result. Essentially, it's not about the win or loss, its about doing the best you possibly can in any situation that life hands you.

The Buffalo Silverbacks are currently scheduling "Do Your Best, Never Quit" seminars. For more information on how to bring the Silverbacks to your club or school, please visit www.buffalosilverbacks.com or email info@buffalosilverbacks.com.
