Tuesday, July 1, 2008, 7:00 P.M. PDT at ARCO Arena
The Monarchs have an eight-game winning streak against the Mystics and have won the last four series. Sacramento had a season-high .517 shooting from the field and a season-high 87 points for the game. The Monarchs had four players score in double figures: Rebekkah Brunson had 12 points, Kara Lawson had 13 points, Ticha Penicheiro had 17 points, and Scholanda Robinson had a season-high 12 points. Sacramento opened the second half with a 16-5 run (Kara Lawson scored seven of the 16 points). Ticha Penicheiro tied season-high eight assists.

Thursday, July 3 - Sacramento Monarchs at San Antonio Silver Stars, 5:00 PM PDT
Sacramento faces San Antonio for the second time this season after picking up a 73-64 win over the Silver Stars on Opening Night at ARCO Arena on May 17. The Monarchs are now 24-16 against the Silver Stars in the all-time series history, including a 15-6 advantage at home; however, Sacramento is 9-10 against the Silver Stars when playing in San Antonio.
Sunday, July 5 - Sacramento Monarchs at Houston Comets, 12:00 PM PDT
The Monarchs match-up against Houston on July 5 after four of the starting five scored in double digits to help Sacramento defeat the Comets, 73-66, on May 30. Forward Nicole Powell led the way with 16 points while guard Ticha Penicheiro had 11 and both Kara Lawson and Adrian Williams-Strong tallied 10. Rookie Laura Harper scored a career-high 11 points - including making 9-of-16 from the free throw line - to go along with 5 rebounds as the Monarchs improved to 15-25 overall against Houston.
Texas 2-Stop
The Sacramento Monarchs are hosting the Texas 2-Stop MVP Road Trip this week, including lower level game tickets for both the San Antonio and Houston games, transportation from San Antonio to Houston, MVP Party, exclusive Texas 2-Stop t-shirt and a Monarchs MVP Texas 2-Stop gift.
2008 Special Events at Monarchs Games During the 2008 season, the Monarchs will be hosting special events for fans to participate in during designated home games throughout the season. The special events at Monarchs games are as follows:
- Friday, July 18 vs. Atlanta Dream: Breast Health Awareness Night
- Thursday, July 24 vs. Phoenix Mercury: Camp Day
- Saturday, Aug. 30 vs. Houston Comets: Women of Inspiration Night (previously scheduled for Saturday, July 12)
