Sacramento, CA. The ABA Sacramento Heatwave announced its Summer Pro Tryout Camp for the upcoming 2007-2008 season to be held on Saturday, September 8th at Natomas High Event Center. Participants are encouraged to register early as there will be a limited number of applications accepted.

Participants are also encouraged to send player profiles along with registration forms and fee. Forms and information are available at www.heatwavelive.com or by calling 559 779 0100.

According to Reggie Davis, team owner, "As one of the oldest teams in the ABA, we feel that this is the season that we make our move towards the playoffs and championship. We've been good, but we are determined to get even better. If you can play, please register for the tryout camp - and let's work together to bring a championship to Sacramento." Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
