
Sacco Commits to Army

Odessa, TX - The Odessa Jackalopes of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) are proud to announce that forward Michael Sacco has verbally committed to play college hockey at the United States Military Academy at West Point starting in 2020. A native of Syosset, New York Sacco is in his first year with the North American Hockey league and has accumulated 16 points (five goals, 11 assists) in 25 games played for the Jackalopes this season. This currently ranks him among to the top ten scorers for the Jacks this year.
"Obviously were pretty excited, with him living so close to there. He brings a different look to Army, He's excited, were excited for him and happy he will be with us for another year," said Jackalopes head coach Greg Gatto.
"I'd like to thank my family for the sacrifices they made and my coaches and teammates for pushing me every day to become a better person and player," said Sacco.
Sacco joins James Crossman and Patrick Dawson in committing to a D1 program this season.
