RIVER CATS NOTES
The Sacramento River Cats won tonight's game, 6-4, giving them a six-game winning streak for the fourth time this season and first time since June 4-10 vs. Tacoma and at Sugar Land...they are now 31-19 at home, 19-25 when their opponent scores first, and 12-11 in two-run games.
The River Cats stole four bases tonight, their seventh time with four-or-more stolen bags in a game...they have now swiped 126 total bases, this season, the fifth-most in a season in recorded franchise history...they also hold their highest stolen base success rate in any season in recorded franchise history.
Cesar Perdomo was the starter and earned his third win of the season...allowed four runs on seven hits (1 HR) with three walks and two strikeouts in 6.1 innings...was the fourth time this season he has pitched 6.0-or-more innings, and first time doing so with Sacramento...gave up a home run to the first batter of the game for the first time in his career...also marked just the seventh first inning homer allowed in his career...allowed a bases-loaded walk in the fifth inning, the first time he has walked in a batter in his career.
Spencer Bivens earned his first save of the season and first since September 28, 2025 in his final appearance with San Francisco last season...threw 1.2 perfect innings, fanning three batters.
Turner Hill went 1-for-2...extended his hitting streak to 20-straight games, the longest hitting streak by a River Cat this season, longest of his career, and longest active hitting streak in the PCL...he is batting .439 (36-for-82) with four doubles, two triples, two home runs, 15 RBI, eight walks, eight stolen bases, a .610 slugging percentage and a 1.099 OPS during his hitting streak dating back to July 8...is the third-longest single-season hitting streak in recorded franchise history, behind Daric Barton (24 games, 2007) and Nick Buss (22 games, 2014)...swiped third in the eighth inning, his 23rd stolen base of the season, T-5th most in the PCL.
Jonah Cox went 3-for-5, his 10th three-plus-hit game of the season and second with Sacramento...is his second time this season with back-to-back three-hit games (also, April 17-18 with Richmond)...Cox was optioned to the River Cats earlier today after playing with the Kitties on MLB rehab...he is batting .409 (9-for-22) with one triple, three RBI, one walk, four stolen bases, a .435 on-base percentage and a .935 OPS in five games with Sac...was his fourth multi-steal game of the season, all three others coming with Richmond.
Parks Harber went 1-for-4...he has hit safely in 14 of his 16 games with Sacramento...he is batting .348 (24-for-69) with three doubles, four home runs, 17 RBI, seven walks, one stolen base, a .410 on-base percentage and a .975 OPS in 16 games with the River Cats.
Scott Bandura (0-for-4) did not reach base, ending his league-leading 31-game on-base streak.
EXPRESS NOTES
The Round Rock Express lost tonight's game, 4-6, ending their four-game winning streak.
Trey Supak was the starter but did not factor into the decision...allowed two runs on six hits, with two walks and one strikeouts in 5.0 innings of work...has allowed an earned run in every outing so far this season with the Express.
Jarred Kelenic (1-for-1) recorded his 14th home run of the season and seventh with the Express, a 383-foot, solo shot on the first at-bat of the game...was his second time hitting a longball on the first at-bat of a game...exited the game in the fifth inning.
Cody Freeman went 2-for-4 with a double, his eight multi-hit game with the Express...is batting .329 (26-for-79) with four doubles, two home runs, 15 RBI, nine walks, one stolen base, a .393 on-base percentage and an .849 OPS in 20 games with Round Rock.
Aaron Zavala went 1-for-4 with a double, his 26th of the season...he is T-2nd in the PCL in doubles...he is batting .290 (49-for-169) with 14 doubles, two triples, three home runs, 26 RBI, 27 walks, three stolen bases, and an .841 OPS.
