
SaberCats make roster moves

SAN JOSE, Calif. (April 24, 2004) - The San Jose SaberCats activated defensive specialist Trayvon Waller and lineman Kevin Jordan from injured reserve and placed three players on IR in preparation for Sunday's game at Georgia, announced general manager Terry Malley.
Both Waller (6-2, 180, Illinois) and Jordan (6-5, 305, Fresno State) have spent the entire season on injured reserve and will be on the club's active roster for the first time this season.
The SaberCats placed fullback/linebacker Kevin Buck (knee sprain), lineman George Williams (shoulder sprain) and defensive specialist Art Smith (patellar tendonitis) on injured reserve.
San Jose plays the Force in Georgia Sunday as part of an AFL on NBC doubleheader. Game time is 9:00 a.m. (PT) and can be seen locally in the Bay Area on KNTV (NBC11). The SaberCats return to HP Pavilion on Saturday, May 1 to face the expansion New Orleans VooDoo.
