SaberCats, Arena Football League Unveil 2015 Schedule

San Jose SaberCats News Release
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The Arena Football League announced this morning the release of the 2015 season schedule. The SaberCats open up their quest for a fourth ArenaBowl title with a trip to Las Vegas, taking on the Outlaws in their inaugural game on Monday, March 30th. In Week 2, San Jose returns home to take on the Los Angeles KISS in the home opener on Saturday, April 4th.
The SaberCats are set to face off against long time rival Arizona twice this season, as they visit they snake pit in Week 6, while the Rattlers come to San Jose in a late season showdown during Week 19.
Other highlights of the schedule include an early season back-to-back in Florida against Tampa Bay and Jacksonville in Week's 3 and 4, Las Vegas' first trip to San Jose in Week 7, a Week 8 trip to Spokane, where quarterback Erik Meyer will square off against his former team, and a Week 9 visit from the reigning American Conference Champion Cleveland Gladiators.
San Jose opens the season with 14 straight games. Every AFL team is off during Week 15 to celebrate our nation's independence, while the second of the SaberCats bye weeks occurs during Week 18. San Jose has two separate two-game road trips, and finishes the year with three of the final four games at home.
