Ryan Petz Back in the Pee Dee

September 13, 2006 - Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) - Twin City Cyclones News Release

The Pee Dee Cyclones Professional Ice Hockey team is proud to announce that former Pee Dee Pride standout Ryan Petz has agreed to terms for the upcoming 2006-07 season. Cyclones' Head Coach and General Manager Mark Richards is thrilled to have Petz back in the Pee Dee; "Ryan brings a lot of experience to our line-up. He has been a good leader on past teams, and I look for him to continue in that role."

During his five years with the former Pee Dee Pride, Petz played in 291 games, putting up 96 goals and 108 assists. The 5'-11", 195 pound forward made a brief appearance with the Cyclones last season for one game where he put in one point and four penalty minutes. This season, Petz will be reunited with two of his former Pride teammates, Allan Sirois and Chris Crombie.
