San Angelo, Texas--- The San Angelo Colts 11th season in modern history will bring some well known food and name brands to Foster Field this season. New for 2010, Texas Steak Express will have a concession stand at the park, cater the group outings menu, and bring Nolan Ryan's beef to the park. The Colts will also be bringing back DoubleDave's Pizzaworks for the fourth straight year, who will also sell concessions at the ballpark. "We are thrilled to have these two premier vendors on premises for games this season, each offers some great food options for our fans" said Colts GM Mike Babcock.
Mike could not have put it any better. Texas Steak Express will offer some really tasty open flamed grilled burgers, as well as steak and chicken sandwiches with both regular and sweet tea. They will also be a sponsor, as Texas Steak Express will be featured inside the program, have autographed Nolan Ryan giveaways, season tickets, and host the always hilarious "Build-A-Burger" on-field promotion, in which a pair of fans build a human hamburger. "We are excited to be part of a great fun family friendly affordable atmosphere. We are excited to be out at the ballpark this season and offer high quality steaks and nutritious meals at affordable price. It's great for us; it is like having another location here in town. We can offer any food option to Colts fans at the ballpark that we offer at the store" said Texas Steak Express GM Casey Cooper.
Texas Steak Express will also cater two of the Colts most popular picnic options. The Homerun Package which for just $8 will include a 1/3 pound cheeseburger, Lay's Potato Chips, a jumbo chocolate chip cookie, and a 32 ounce cup of Southern Style Tea. The menu will also include a Grand Slam Package for just $12 that includes a choice of two meats either a 6 ounce choice cut ribeye or 8 ounce grilled chicken breast, a loaded baked potato with butter sour cream, and bacon, a fresh oven baked yeast roll, a jumbo chocolate chip cookie, and a 32 ounce Southern Style Tea. Texas Steak Express will also customize a menu to fit your individual group's needs.
DoubleDave's enjoyed heavily here in San Angelo, will sell pizza with a variety of toppings, as well as their "World Famous Peproni Rolls", which have become a fan favorite at Foster Field. "DoubleDave's is glad to be able to continue our successful relationship with the Colts. We receive great exposure there and get to offer our famed pizza and Peproni rolls to the Colts' fans. Our customer base continues to grow here in San Angelo because of this partnership" said DoubleDave's owner Tommy Moran. DoubleDave's will also participate in a variety of promotions that includes sponsoring Magnet Schedule Giveaway Night, "DoubleDave's Double Play" on the radio and over the public address system, as well as give fans a chance to win a free pizza in the always fun "Pizza Scream". The Colts will also have some big announcements in the weeks to come, so stay tuned for more additions to Foster Field.
