Chicago Rush News Release
The Chicago Rush will host a public celebration of its ArenaBowl XX title at the Ram Restaurant and Brewhouse in Rosemont on Thursday, June 22, the team announced today.
The event, which begins at 5 p.m., will feature Rush team captains Bob McMillen, John Moyer and Etu Molden, the Adrenaline Rush Dancers, the team's mascot, Grabowski, and, of course, the ArenaBowl trophy.
The Ram is located at 9520 Higgins Road in Rosemont.
"Our fans have been great since Day 1 and we wanted to make sure we did something special to help them celebrate the title," said Rush president/general manager Mike Polisky. "They deserve this win as much as our players and coaches."
At the celebration fans will have the opportunity to pose for pictures with the trophy, get autographs and purchase ArenaBowl XX merchandise - including a commemorative poster featuring images from the championship game.
The Rush defeated the Orlando Predators 69-61 Sunday in Las Vegas to capture the ArenaBowl XX title. The win capped an amazing playoff run in which the underdog Rush won three consecutive road games on its way to the championship game.
