
Rush releases Chad Pegues

The Chicago Rush has released lineman Chad Pegues, the team announced today.
Pegues (6-1, 285, Illinois State) appeared in two games for the Rush, recording 1.5 tackles. Originally signed as a free agent in October, Pegues spent the previous three years of his AFL career with the Dallas Desperados.
The Rush (2-1) travels to Ohio this week to take on the Columbus Destroyers (0-2). Kickoff for Saturday's game at Nationwide Arena is set for 6 p.m. The Rush returns home to Allstate Arena Friday, February 25, to host the Orlando Predators at 7:30 p.m. Fans wishing to purchase tickets to the game, or any remaining Rush home game, may order by calling Ticketmaster at (312) 559-1212, or by visiting the Ticketmaster Web site at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets also may be purchased in person at any Ticketmaster outlet or the Allstate Arena box office.
