
Rubeor Named Warrior Offensive Player of the Week

Annapolis, MD - Veteran attackman Ben Rubeor was named Warrior Offensive Player of the Week for Week Two of the 2013 season, which concluded on May 5. The winners are chosen every week by MLL Commissioner David Gross and are based on outstanding in-game achievements.
Rubeor carried the defending MLL Champion Bayhawks to a 9-3 win over the New York Lizards Saturday night, improving the teams' record to 2-0. The attackman scored seven of Chesapeake's nine goals on the evening, showcasing his career-high talents in a plethora of ways. Registering a stellar .64 shooting percentage, the sixth-year veteran also extended his point streak to 31 straight games. Earning Player of the Game for his performance, Rubeor also managed to scoop two ground balls in the win. Rubeor joins teammate Kyle Dixon, as Chesapeake receives Warrior Offensive Player of the Week accolades for the second week in a row.
