Victoria Royals News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are back at home this weekend looking for revenge against the Prince George Cougars after a tough weekend away.
The Royals lost both Friday and Saturday night despite a tremendous effort and a diminished roster due to injuries. The team welcomes the Cougars to Victoria for the third and fourth games of the six-game series on Friday and Saturday evening.
"This is such a great segment of the season. Two tightly contested games in Prince George, and now back home to Victoria for two," GM and Head Coach Dan Price said. "The teams are getting to know each other well, and the level of competition on both sides has been outstanding. We're looking forward to being back at home and feeling the energy of our home crowd."
On Friday night, the Royals celebrate "Esports and Tech Night" and then on Saturday, it's the "Royals Spooktacular Halloween on Outdoors night" sponsored by Garden City Tree and Landscape. Attendees will receive a Garden City Tree and Landscape Halloween treat bag upon entry and will be able to participate in the Royals frighteningly fun trick-or-treat around the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre. Saturday evening is also the return of the fan-favourite annual "Outdoors Night" where local businesses will have tables set up in the concourse to promote outdoor activities and equipment.
To purchase tickets for either game this weekend, visit Select Your Ticket, call the Select Your Tickets box office or stop by the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre Ticket Office Wednesday through Friday between 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Ticket prices start at $25 for students, seniors and corner seats, $30 for sides and ring and go up to $39 for Premium Club seating.
