Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals today announced that the club has received a seventh round draft pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft from the Prince Albert Raiders for 2001-born defenceman Remy Aquilon.
Last season, the Kelowna, BC product played in 50 games for the Royals and registered four assists and 20 penalty minutes. The 6-1, 173 lb defender also skated in five playoff contests for Victoria.
Over the course of his WHL career, Aquilon has played in 57 regular games and 15 post-season contests and has recorded a combined four assists and 26 minutes in penalties.
The 18-year-old blueliner was listed to the Royals' 50-man protected player list in 2017.
