
Royals Announce Playoff Roster Transactions

Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced the following transactions: (i) defenseman Brett Flemming, who had been recalled from Reading on Tuesday to Hershey, was assigned by the Capitals from the Bears to the Royals; (ii) goaltender Mark Owuya, who had been recalled from the Royals to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL on Tuesday, was assigned by the Toronto Maple Leafs of the NHL from the Toronto Marlies of the AHL to the Royals; (iii) forward Julien Cayer was placed on the team's Reserve List; and (iv) defenseman Brock Shelgren was placed on the team's Reserve List. In a transaction previously completed, forward T.J. Syner was loaned by the Bears to the Royals.
Royals playoff tickets are now on sale. The Eastern Conference Quarterfinal best of seven series against the Greenville Road Warriors will start with Game One tomorrow (Friday, April 5 @7:05 pm) at Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. Friday's game night broadcast on CBS Sports Radio 1240 am and 98.5 fm will kick off with the pre-game warm-up show presented by Steve Moyer Subaru at 6:35 pm. Game Two of the best of seven series will be played at the Sovereign Center on Saturday, April 6 (@7:05 pm).
