
Royals Add Forward Everett Sheen

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Everett Sheen ("SHEEN").
Last season, Sheen (6'0/205) (24) was selected as the Most Valuable Player at Holy Cross College, where he led the team with seventeen goals and was second in overall scoring (17g-18a35pts) in thirty-eight games with the Crusaders. Sheen, who was a two-time captain during his time at Holy Cross, also signed an Amateur Tryout agreement with the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL at the conclusion of his senior season, but did not appear in any AHL games. Sheen, who hails from Lethbridge, Alberta, kicked off his collegiate career by leading Holy Cross as a freshman with fifteen goals and earning a spot on the Atlantic Hockey Association's All-Rookie Team. Sheen, who set a school record by playing in all 149 games during his four-year career with the Crusaders, is the ninth player in school history to record over 100 career points (52g-52a) in D-I hockey at Holy Cross.
