Nashua, N.H. - For the second consecutive night, Game One of the 2012 Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL) semifinals between the Brockton Rox and the Nashua Silver Knights has been postponed due to rain.
Brockton (30-23) and Nashua (39-13) will meet at Campanelli Stadium in Brockton, Mass. for Game One of the FCBL semifinals on Sunday at 5:05 p.m. Game Two is scheduled for Monday night at Holman Stadium in Nashua at 7:05 p.m., while Game Three will be held on Tuesday night in Nashua at 7:05 p.m., if necessary.
Winners of four in a row, fourth-seeded Brockton picked the perfect time to heat up, as the red-hot Rox have won 13 of their last 17 contests. Meanwhile, since rattling off 13 straight victories earlier in the season, first-seeded Nashua has continued its strong play, winning 18 of its last 26 games to close out the regular season.
