
Round Rock Express Begin Eight-Game Home Stand Thursday

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Round Rock Express begin an eight-game home stand Thursday, opening a four-game series against the Fresno Grizzlies (San Francisco Giants). Thursday's series opener is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at The Dell Diamond. The series continues Friday at 7:05 p.m., Saturday at 6:05 p.m. and Sunday at 1:05 p.m.
The weekend is highlighted by Saturday's postgame concert by Bob Schneider as part of the St. David's Round Rock Express Summer Concert Series presented by Dell. The series opens with The Original Thirsty Thursday presented by Firetrol Protection Systems with reduced draft beer and soda prices. Friday features postgame fireworks presented by Bud Light. Express Kids T-Shirts will be available for all kids age 12 and under as part of Sunday's H-E-B Kids' Day thanks to Edelman Financial.

Fresno enters the series with the Pacific Coast League's best record at 26-13. The Grizzlies roster features former Texas Tech standout Roger Kieschnick, nephew of former University of Texas All-American Brooks Kieschnick. Roger Kieschnick is among the PCL's top hitters with a .331 average, nine home runs, 24 RBI, 12 doubles and four triples.
H-E-B Kids' Day includes events centered on the Junior Sluggers program, presented by A+ Federal Credit Union. For $15, children ages 12 and under receive tickets to 15 games, a Junior Sluggers T-Shirt, a Fun Zone punch card 10-percent discount in the Railyard Team Store, a 10-percent discount on Express baseball and softball camps, an A+ Federal Credit Union $10 savings account voucher, a club newsletter, and a VIP front-of-the-line pass for running the bases after Sunday home games. Sunday's game features a pre-game on field clinic exclusive to Junior Sluggers members.
