SPRINGDALE, AR - The Frisco RoughRiders backed by two home runs from Jared Prince defeated the Northwest Arkansas Naturals xx-xx on Saturday night at Arvest Ballpark.

The RoughRiders wasted no time getting to Naturals' starter Chris Dwyer. Engel Beltre led off the game with a triple and scored on a throwing error by Naturals' second baseman Rey Navarro. Jurickson Profar worked a walk and Mike Olt followed with a home run to make it a 3-0 game. Alex Bucholz reached on an error and later scored on a home run by Jared Prince that made it 5-0.

The Naturals wasted no time fighting back getting a lead off single from Paulo Orlando and a walk from Christian Colon. Eric Duncan followed with an RBI single to cut the deficit to 5-1. Johnny Whittleman followed with a walk, and then Mario Lisson delivered an RBI single, and Carlo Testa followed with an RBI single as well to make it 5-3. Rey Navarro got a sacrifice fly, and Nick Van Stratten tied the game with an RBI single of his own.

The RoughRiders (29-19) offense got rolling again picking up three runs in the top of the third inning. Prince collected the big hit drilling a two run home run that made it an 8-5 game. The home run was the second of the night for Prince, and just his fourth of the season.

Frisco picked up another run in the top of the sixth inning, when Olt drove in Profar, who had reached on a walk to make it 9-5. The Naturals cut into the lead in the bottom of the inning when Navarro reached on a two-out double and later scored on a Van Stratten single to make it 9-6.

Dwyer (3-5) went five innings allowing nine hits and eight runs, six of which were earned. He issued only two walks and struck out a season high seven. His counter part Barret Loux (10-0) went six innings allowing nine hits and six runs, while walking two and fanning seven.

Jon Keck came on in relief for the Naturals (25-23) in the top of the ninth inning, making his Double-A debut. Keck worked a scoreless frame walking one and striking out one. Ross Wolf worked a perfect ninth inning for the RoughRiders in order to pick up his first save of the season.

The Naturals will open up a three-game series with the Frisco RoughRiders tomorrow night at 7:05 PM. The Naturals will send Ethan Hollingsworth (0-1, 6.10) against the RoughRiders Jake Brigham (2-1, 2.98). The game can be heard on ESPN 92.1 The Ticket.
