ODESSA, TX. : The Odessa Roughnecks are coming off of a much needed win this past weekend taking out the Centex Barracudas 48-28. The win put Odessa at .500 mark (3-3) and kept Odessa in contention for the play-offs. Quarterback Walter Washington had one of his best performances to date with 4 rushing touchdowns and 2 passing. He went 14-out of-24 for 126 yards. Washington seems to have settled into the indoor game. The Roughnecks look to improve on the season's record as they travel this weekend to Frisco. Frisco is also at 3-3, and so the battle begins at the EDS Credit Union Field at the Deja Blue Dr. Pepper Stars Center at 7:05 p.m. This game, as is all others, will be broadcast online at http://www.97gold.com/ and on your radio dial at 96.9fm.
