
Roughnecks support local Special Olympics

ODESSA, TX. : The Odessa Roughnecks staff, coaches and a few players will be helping out with the Special Olympics Fundraiser on Saturday November 4, 2006. The event will be held at The AMF Midland Park Bowling
Lanes located at the corner of Tremont Ave. and Loop 250 from 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. . If you are unfamiliar with the Special Olympics they offer children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round training and competition in 30 Olympic-type summer and winter sports. You can learn more about the Special Olympics at www.specialolympics.org. "We are glad to lend a helping hand to such a great cause." Stated Head Coach Chris Williams. So get your bowling shoes on and come out and support the Special Olympics.
