Roughnecks schedule announced

West Texas Roughnecks News Release
ANCHORAGE, AK. : The Intense Football League officially announced it's 2007 schedule in Anchorage, Alaska today including a 15 game Odessa Roughnecks season. Roughnecks owner Tommy Benizio is in Alaska helping the Wild get things heated up...even in temperatures below zero.
"We are excited about the addition of Katy, Frisco and Alaska and are anxious for our fans to see every team on the field in the Ector County Coliseum." stated Benizio.
Not only do the Roughnecks host every team at home, but it will once again all be done on Saturday nights. Season tickets are selling at an all time high and players from all around the nation continue to inquire as the start of the 2007 season looms near. They will be looking to help defend the IFL's Intense Bowl and to continue the "Winning Tradition" that the Permian Basin has come to expect of the Roughnecks.
"We have high expectations for the upcoming season" stated Head Coach Chris Williams. "We look to add talented new players and retain key players from last season."
The Roughnecks have one of the hardest match-ups to start the season in just the first 5 weeks of play taking on last years 2006 play-off qualifiers Louisiana, Corpus Christi then on the road against CenTex.
