ODESSA, TX: Five games into their first NIFL season, the Odessa Roughnecks remain perfect. In front of a near capacity crowd of 4,371, Odessa defeated the Billings Mavericks at the Ector County Coliseum on Saturday night.

"It was great to be home after beginning training camp ten weeks ago. The crowd was great and the players did what they needed to do. We look forward to hosting Louisiana this weekend and what I feel will be another excellent performance.", remarked head coach Chris Williams. This victory marked the teams second in just six days.

The Roughnecks (5-0) host the Louisiana Swashbucklers (5-1) this Saturday night during "Ameripride Hat Night". The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a FREE Roughnecks ball cap compliments of Ameripride Uniform Services. As always, Kickoff is at 7:11 PM and the tailgate party begins at 5:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased at any area Albertson's location, through the team's website at www.RoughnecksNIFL.com, or by visiting the Coliseum box office Wednesday through game time.
