The Roughnecks are heading in to a 5 game home stretch, starting this Saturday April, 14th ending May19th. "I feel that having a series like this will help our team get back in to the win column and bring our players together", stated Owner/GM Dale Morris. Saturday night is FANAPPRECIATION NIGHT and the 1st 1,000 fans receive a FREE Action Figure sponsored by News9 Bear Claw & 1st Staffing Group.
This week the West Texas Roughnecks signed two new players to help solidify the roster.
Matt Parsons 6'6 215 lb New Mexico State University 2006-2009. Played for the El Paso Generals in 2010. High School Bishop Moore Hornets Central Florida where he threw for 2900 yds and 37 TD's.
Hakim Gadiaga 6'3" 214lb Hudson Valley CC/Virginia Union. Mount Vernon High School.
The Roughnecks are proud to announce that Brandon Seasay has moved up the ranks. Seasay signed with the AFL Orlando Predators "We pride ourselves here at the Roughnecks on helping players move on to the next level. Brandon is another name in a list of great players that we have opened the doorway for them to succeed," boasted Dale Morris Owner/GM. Brandon Seasay spent his collegiate career at Texas Tech in the Big 12 conference, and after only playing in 2 regular season games and one pre season game showed the talent necessary to get to the next level we wish him nothing but the best.
