
Roughnecks Collect Mammoth Win

Calgary, AB - Curtis Dickson scored the game-winning goal 21 seconds into overtime lifting the Calgary Roughnecks to a 12-11 win over the Colorado Mammoth Saturday evening at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Shawn Evans led the Roughnecks with a game-high 10-point effort, scoring three goals and adding seven assists, while Dickson finished the night with four goals and one helper. After netting a pair of goals, including one on the power play, Dane Dobbie surpassed Tracey Kelusky for the franchise lead in all-time power play goals at 59. Dobbie added to his record-breaking performance by setting up four other goals for Calgary, while Jeff Shattler (1g, 2a), Geoff Snider (1g) and Scott Ranger (1g) each scored in the win.
Colorado was led offensively by Jordan McBride with two goals and five assists, while John Grant Jr. (3g, 3a), Casey Powell (4a) and Sean Pollock (3g, 1a) also contributed with strong performances. Adam Jones, Jamie Lincoln and Creighton Reid each tallied a goal in the loss.
Mike Poulin stopped 32 of 43 shots to record the win as the Roughnecks improve to 7-5 on the season. Snider won 24 of 27 face-offs and collected a game-leading 22 loose balls.
Calgary returns to action on Saturday, March 30 when the Roughnecks visit the Washington Stealth (7-5). Game time is 8 p.m. MT at the Comcast Arena in Everett, WA.
