Roughnecks And United Way Team Up For Football Camp

ODESSA, TX. : The Odessa Roughnecks and the United Way of Odessa are hosting a very special one-day football camp for Tuesday, April 8, 2008 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Ratliff Stadium. The camp will have 100 kids participating in many different activities that involve the game of football. Roughnecks players will be on hand to help the kids and teach them different aspects of the game, both on offense and defense, as well as Roughnecks Dance Choreographer Welton Blaylock to teach all those that want to dance.
All the kids participating in the event will receive Roughnecks jersey's along with food and drinks following the camp at 7:30 p.m.. Each child will receive 2 tickets to the Saturday, April 12, 2008 game versus the CenTex Barracudas. The Roughnecks have produced 2,000 voucher tickets for the United Way and its contacts to sell. The camp is sold out and with two great organizations coming together it will make for an exciting event. All kids can arrive as early as 5:30 p.m. to check into the camp.
