The club has reason to be cheerful this week despite the injury to Cabrera and the heavy loss at the weekend. Firstly, at this weekend's Wells Fargo Mortgage night the franchise recorded the highest attendance figure in USL 2 this season with a total of 4,841. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this happen.

Captain of the Rough Riders and International World Cup Legend Wilmer Cabrera you will be glad to hear is on the mend. We cannot confirm at this point when he will be able to wear a Rough Riders shirt again, but we can tell you he is in good spirits despite having 9 staples and 12 stitches in his head from a wound sustained during this weekend's game. All those associated with the organization and the fans wish him a speedy recovery.

Ronan Wiseman's and the Rough Riders strong tradition in the US Open Cup will come to the forefront again on June 29th in the competition's 2nd round.
