Long Island Rough Riders News Release
The passionate Rough Riders faithful are always looking for that signal or sign that championship glory is just around the corner.
The signal this time is the Rough Riders have returned to the traditional 'Teddy on the Horse Logo' for their club badge. This will be emblazoned on the shirt for the 2005 season.
Jim Kilmeade who conceptualized the Rough Riders and is the General manger commented;
'After last years experiment it was clear that we needed to return to our heritage and tradition. The original Rough Riders badge will appear on all kits from the Pro Team right the way to our youth programs.'
MLS heavyweight and Rough Riders Legend Alfonso Mondelo added, 'This is great news the club has worked very hard to create a universally recognized identity to lose it would have been a great shame. That badge represents a great period in my life and as part of the original set up I always want to see them do well.
Solidarity night 15th April 7.30pm Mitchel Field Indoor Facility. All our welcome.
