
Rough Riders announce pro tryouts for 2006 season

Plainview, NY ( November 18, 2005) - The Long Island Rough Riders have announced that they will be holding preliminary tryouts on Saturday, December 3rd in preparation for their 2006 USL Division 2 season.
The sessions, led by recently named Head Coach Flavio Ferri, will be held at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Fields in Plainview , NY. The tryouts will be open to potential professional players and college players that have completed their eligibility.
12 noon - Open Tryouts
This session is open to all players wishing to be considered for the professional team's 2006 roster.
2:00pm - College Tryouts
This session is intended ONLY for those players who are currently graduating seniors or who have recently completed their college eligibility.
All participants are required to pre-register via the Rough Riders website, providing their playing history, payment information for the $25 administration fee and complete a medical waiver form. (Note - the team will NOT be able to accept "walk-up" registrations on site the day of the trials.)
