Rotary Read-A-Long Night at the Fog Devils

St. John's Fog Devils News Release
The St. John's Fog Devils announced today that the game on Saturday, November 25th against the Val D'Or Foreurs will be Rotary Read-A-Long Night at the Fog Devils.
The Rotary Read-A-Long is an educational program aimed at promoting reading and literacy in the St. John's region's elementary schools. The program was designed by Rotarians, Jeff Peddle and Alex Twells, and sees a group of people that includes Rotarians, businesspeople, police officers and members of the St. John's Fog Devils visit classrooms and read a stories to children. After the session, the group leaves a significant number of books with the school's library with a value from $2,000-$3,000.
The Read A-Long partners include the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, The Telegram, The Idea Factory, Rotary and the St. John's Fog Devils.
A number of things planned for the during the game including:
- Special Ticket Packages
o Rotary Members can get tickets for $10
o McDonald's "I'm Lovin' Family" Paks will be available for $50 (you get 4 tickets to the game, a 2-for-1 Mile One Food Coupon and 2 McDonald's Happy meal Coupons)
- Fans are encouraged to bring children's books for the Fog Devils Book Drive
- Chance to win book bundles from Brady Brady Books and Creative Publishing
- Pregame Puck Drop to officially launch the Rotary Read-A-Long program
Tickets for this game is currently on sale at the Mile One Stadium Box Office. As well all Fog Devils Ticket Paks including the Scorch Stocking Stuffer, the Molson 5 Flex Pak, the Pepsi 10 Flex Pak and the McDonald's "I'm Lovin' It" Family Paks are also on sale. The St. John's Fog Devils are one of 59 member clubs of the Canadian Hockey League.
