
Rosyski Scores Franchise Record Ten Points in Victory

(San Jose, CA) --- The San Jose Stealth rolled past the Portland LumberJax tonight 17 - 8 for their third straight win this season. Gary Rosyski led the Stealth attack with four goals and six assists while five other Stealth players scored two or more goals. Rosyski's ten points breaks the franchise record for points in one game that was previously held by Colin Doyle who scored nine points in the overtime win against Calgary on March 12. The Stealth registered seven unanswered goals in the third period to seal the deal on their first home victory of the 2007 season.
Jeff Zywicki had two goals and five assists while fellow Western Division All-Star Colin Doyle had three goals and one assist. Luke Wiles had two goals and six assists, Callum Crawford had two goals and three assists and Ian Hawksbee added the final two goals of the game.
Anthony Cosmo started the match for the Stealth, but had to leave after receiving an Unsportsmanlike Conduct Game Misconduct penalty for illegal equipment in the fourth quarter. Aaron Bold finished the remainder of the game in goal.
San Jose remains in a tie for the fourth and final playoff spot in the Western Division. They share the position with their Western Division rivals, the Edmonton Rush.
The Stealth (4-5) will battle the LumberJax (2-9) again in Portland on Saturday March 24 and then return to HP Pavilion to face the Edmonton Rush on Sunday March 25. The game against Portland can be seen on Versus.
