Rossi Joins RazorSharks

Rochester RazorSharks News Release


(Rochester, New York)...The Rochester RazorSharks announced today that Steve Rossi has been named President of the American Basketball Association club. Rossi will oversee the day-to-day operations of the professional basketball franchise, coordinating ticket functions, sponsorship and marketing, communications and public relations for the defending ABA champions. He will report to RazorShark owners Dr. Severko Hrywnak and Orest Hrywnak.

Rossi has 22 years experience in professional and collegiate sports, including stints with the Buffalo Sabres as Director of Public Relations and the Rochester Sports Group (Americans hockey, Rhinos soccer, Knighthawks indoor lacrosse and Rattlers outdoor lacrosse) as Vice President of Communications. He most recently was Vice President, General Manager of the MSM Sports Marketing Group, a division of Mason Selkowitz Marketing.

A native of Irondequoit, Rossi was a consultant to the RazorSharks in their inaugural season last year. He has been a front office member of seven championship teams in the last 11 years for Rochester professional sports teams.
