
Ronnie Prettyman to step down as Terre Haute Rex Baseball head coach

TERRE HAUTE, IN - The Terre Haute REX has announced the resignation of head coach Ronnie Prettyman effective today, allowing him to pursue other professional opportunities.
"The Terre Haute REX organization has been fortunate to have Ronnie Prettyman lead the team during our fourth season," said Casey DeGroote, Terre Haute REX General Manager. "We appreciate what he has done to continue the success of the team."
In his debut season as the REX head coach, Prettyman assisted the team in reaching a new REX record, with a seven game winning streak and had seven players on the Prospect League All-Star team.
"This experience with the Terre Haute REX has been amazing. The players, fans, and community support has been absolutely outstanding," said Ronnie Prettyman. "I appreciate this opportunity to have led the team and hope the REX finish out the season as a success."
Assistant coach Neil Walton will assume the managerial responsibilities for the remainder of the season.
