
Rogues Announce 2014 Promotional Schedule

MEDFORD, OR - The Medford Rogues have announced their full promotions schedule for the 2014 season at Harry and David Field. Highlighted promotions include five bobble head giveaways, baseball giveaways, three fireworks shows and additional premium dates.
The first of three fireworks shows will be on Opening Day, when The Seattle Cheney Studs visit Harry and David Field to play the Rogues on Saturday, May 31st. All fans in attendance will be seeing a double header, followed by a fireworks show presented by Harry & David. Gates will open at 4 p.m. and first pitch is scheduled for 5:05 p.m. The event will mark the Cheney Studs' first trip to Harry and David Field, though the team was based in Medford during the early 1950s. The remaining fireworks dates are Thursday, July 3rd and Friday, August 8th. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. and gates will open at 5:30 on both nights.
Joining the nationwide bobble head craze, the Rogues will be giving away five in 2014, all featuring famous names to the Rogue Valley. Bobble head dates and honorees are:
Saturday June 14, 1968 Olympic High Jump Champion and Medford native Dick Fosbury, presented by Airport Chevrolet;
Saturday, June 21, Grange Co-Op and Pet Country Mascot Floyd, presented by Grange Co-Op;
Saturday, July 5, Rogue Valley baseball legend B.G. Gould, presented by U.S. Cellular;
Saturday, June 19, Detroit Pistons basketball player and Medford native Kyle Singler, presented by D.A. Davidson;
Saturday, August 9, Rowdy, Medford Rogues Mascot, presented by Rogue Credit Union.
The first 1,000 fans through the gate on each night will receive a bobble head, with season ticket holders guaranteed a bobble head for each ticket.
In addition to the bobble heads, the Rogues will have two baseball giveaways: Rogues Baseballs on June 20th, presented by Southern Oregon Media Group, and Red, White, and Blue baseballs on July 4th, presented by Radio Medford. First pitch on the June 20th is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. and gates will open at 5:35 p.m. First pitch for the July 4th game schedule for 1:05 p.m. and gates will open at 12:00 noon. Baseballs will be given to the first 1,000 fans.
Returning to the Harry and David Field in 2014 will be the Diamond Dig (win a diamond), presented by Gold & Gems Fine Jewelry, on Friday, August 8th. First pitch against the Corvallis Knights will be at 6:35 p.m. and gates will open at 5:35 p.m. The game will feature an opportunity for fans to come onto the field and dig to win a diamond. Following the Diamond Dig will be the final fireworks show of the season.
Also returning to Harry and David Field will be a host of popular weekly promotions along with some new ways to satisfy Rogues fans. All "$2 Monday" home games will feature $2 bleacher tickets, hot dogs and Pepsi beverages, while Tuesday will be Bi-Mart $2 Tuesdays. Wednesday is Rogue Credit Night at the Ballpark, where all Rogue Credit Union members get in free with their membership card. "Thirsty Thursdays" will feature $2 beverages of all kinds. Also, Fred Meyer Family Fun Sundays return, giving families four bleacher tickets, four hot dogs, four drinks and four souvenir baseballs for $44 through Rogue Valley Fred Meyer stores.

Single-game tickets to the Rogues all home games may be purchased starting March 17 online at www.medfordrogues.com, by calling 541-973-2883 or by visiting the Harry and David Field box office.
