August 12, 2005 - Pioneer League (PL)
Casper Ghosts News Release

The Casper Rockies made the Helena Brewers human again, posting an impressive 6-2 win over the previously unbeaten club. The Rockies got righty Chaz Roe an early lead with a two run homer from 1st baseman Chris Cook. Cook would be the hitting star on the night, going 4-4 with three RBI's and scoring two runs.

Casper's pitching was also impressive, with Roe leading the way. The 1st rounder went five strong innings, fanning six and allowing just a run while earning his 4th win of 2005. Byron Binda, Brett Strickland, and Andrew Johnston finished the night for Casper.

Helena hadn't lost in a week and a half. Their last loss came on the final day of the first half. With the win Casper stays in first place in the South as well.

The rubber match of the series happens at 7:05 tonight, Alan Johnson works for Casper versus Tyler Morrison.
